3M Scotch-Blue Painter’s Tape

29 12 2009

In 1925 Richard G. Drew, a young lab assistant, invented masking tape – an innovative step toward diversification and the first of many Scotch brand pressure-sensitive tapes.

Scotch-Blue Painter’s Tape for Delicate Surfaces

Designed specifically for delicate surfaces such as freshly painted walls, Scotch-Blue Painter’s Tape for Delicate Surfaces (with the orange core) is ideal for achieving super-sharp paint lines on smooth surfaces. It is also great for decorative painting projects like striping, faux-finishing, and painting on accent walls.

Scotch-Blue Painter’s Tape for Multi-Surfaces

The name says it all. Scotch-Blue Painter’s Tape for Multi-Surfaces (with the white core) is a versatile tape that works great on different textures. Use it to mask trim, woodwork and glass. It provides professional looking, clean paint lines on smooth to lightly textured surfaces and is available in standard rolls, loaded into a handy applicator or in die-cut shapes.

Dave,

Thanks for your comments on my site… as you see I found a new use for painters tape.

I must say it served as a important tool during my recovery from Open Heart Surgery.

Peter
